Can someone block and unblock on Snapchat?
While friends can be blocked on Snapchat for a number of reasons, they can also be unblocked in a few taps. Here’s how to do it on Android and iOS. 
For Snapchat users who have temporarily blocked a friend, the app offers an easy way to unblock them in a few taps. There are plenty of reasons why a user may want to block someone on a social media platform or messaging app. Sometimes blocking a person is permanent, but other times, it can be a temporary measure.
The option to block or unblock users on Snapchat is available on both Android and iOS, and the process is identical on both platforms. To unblock someone on Snapchat, open the app and tap on the Bitmoji or user icon in the top-left corner of the screen. On the profile page, hit the gear icon in the top-right corner to access Snapchat settings.
Now scroll down and select ‘ Blocked ‘ to see a list of all Snapchat users that have been blocked by that account. From the list, locate the user that needs to be unblocked and then press the ‘X’ icon next to their name, On the confirmation popup, select ‘ Yes ‘ to unblock that user.

- When a user is unblocked, they’ll be removed from this list. Note down their username if you want to add them again after unblocking.
- 6 Tap Yes, The user will be unblocked.
- To stay safe on Snapchat, make sure the person you unblock is trustworthy.
- Add the user again if you want them on your friend list. If they aren’t showing up in the search, you may need to wait 24 hours to add them.
