Is HD Brows worth it?
The beauty of HD Brows is that it isn’t a quick-fix that will never look as good as when you first leaver the salon. In fact, we’ve had many clients report back that although they love their freshly done brows, it’s a few days after treatment that they really see, and feel the benefits.
Do HD Brows fade?
How can I remove my HD Brows eyebrow tint? – Eyebrow tint lasts around 6 weeks, so it can’t be removed but the colour will gradually fade. The rate at which it fades will depend on a variety of factors, including hair type and skincare regime. Remember that your colour may be darker and more defined immediately after your treatment.
How often should I get HD Brows done?
Can you have the High Definition Brows treatment if you are pregnant or breast-feeding? – We know you mum’s-to-be want to keep your brows in check, but we encourage clients to skip the tint during this time, as a reaction from the tint is more likely to occur due to hormonal changes. If a reaction did occur, a pregnant client would be unable to take medication as this may harm the baby.
How much do HD eyebrows cost?
Price – HD Brows start from £25 depending on the Stylist and the location, a much more inexpensive treatment compared to the pricier rate of a microblading technician – on average technicians charge anything from £200-800 for the treatment, again this all depends on their industry experience and skill. You need to ask yourself – what can you afford and can you maintain the aftercare?

Do HD Brows fill in gaps?
Sparse or over plucked brows FAQs – Will over plucked eyebrows ever grow back? The short answer is: yes, usually. The long answer is that the time it takes to regrow overplucked eyebrows is entirely dependent on you, your age and your metabolism. If your hair on your head grows slowly, it’s most likely that your brows will too.
As well as regrowth serums, your diet can also play a part in how quickly your hair grows; make sure you’re getting enough iron, keratin and vitamins C, D, and B6. However, if the follicles around your eyebrows are damaged – perhaps by scarring – regrowth may not be possible, and filling or microblading will provide a much better solution.
What causes overplucking? Many of us have been victims of overplucking for fashion, but we can also sometimes overpluck by accident. Plucking using a magnified mirror can prevent us from seeing the overall picture while we tweeze, causing us to go too far up into the brow.
Use a large mirror that allows you to see your whole face and only pluck strays that lie beyond the arch of your brow. How do you fix thinning brows? Thinning brows can be fixed over time with a careful regrowth plan. Ban the tweezers entirely for at least eight weeks to achieve maximum regrowth and use a stimulating serum to encourage your eyebrows to grow longer and stronger.
Make sure your diet includes all the nutrients your body needs to encourage hair growth or take supplements to boost your brows even more. Can you shape sparse eyebrows? Absolutely! An HD Brows technician will tell you exactly what brow shape is best suited to your features and can use a combination of filling, styling and tinting to get your existing brows into a much fuller and healthier shape.
It’s not a good idea to attempt shaping on your own, as you could end up just overplucking your brows all over again. You can fill at home but leave the shaping to the professionals. How do thyroid problems affect eyebrows? If you’ve started to notice that your hair is becoming suddenly and unusually thin, it could be down to a problem with your thyroid.
Other symptoms can include tiredness, feeling cold, weight gain, dry skin, weakness, aches, a hoarse voice and memory problems. If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, it’s a good idea to visit your doctor as treatments for thyroid disorder should stimulate hair growth again over time.
Is HD Brows a tattoo?
What are HD brows? –
How are they applied?
HD brows are all about creating shape and definition using a combination of temporary waxing, threading, tinting and cosmetic filling techniques. If your brows are naturally thin or have been over-plucked, the HD treatment is the ideal way to get the very best brow style for your face shape, colouring and personality.
How long do they last?
Unlike tattooed brows which are permanent, there’s no lasting commitment to the HD option. But, if you’re thinking of taking the plunge and getting them, HD brows are a great way to test and get used to a different brow shape before you commit. Exposure to swimming pool chlorine, sweat and the sun or excessive cleansing will all shorten the lifespan of your HD brows but if you take care of them, the tint should last 4-6 weeks.
How are they maintained?
Between HD touch ups, it’s advisable to avoid tweezing so that natural growth can be restored and the shape achieved can be maintained. However, while the tinted brow shape will remain, you will need to touch-up your make-up to show your brows at their very best and if you need some tips on how to do that, we can talk you through application techniques and the best products for you.
Are HD Brows painful?
Are HD Brows worth it and does it hurt? – This is obviously very much down to the person. Grazia contributor, Chemmie Squier shares her thoughts below: ‘I’m already pretty well endowed in the eyebrow department but I was super pleased with mine – I’d never had them tinted or waxed (only ever threaded or plucked) but the combination of all the techniques meant they were really well defined and I didn’t have to fill them in at all.

HD Brows Aftercare
Avoid extreme heat treatments (e.g. very hot baths or showers, saunas, steam rooms), swimming, sunbathing (including sun beds or any other exposure to UV light) for 24 hours, Try and avoid exercise or anything that makes you sweat for 24 hours. Do not apply any perfumed products to the area for 24 hours. Avoid the use of make-up around the brows for 24 hours (apart from mineral makeup or specialist post-treatment products.) No self-tanning products should be applied to the area for 24 hours. Self-tanning products may alter the tint colour, so we recommend using these with caution around your brows at all in-between HD Brow treatments. The use of harsh make-up cleansing products could prematurely reduce your brow tint. Avoid the use of such products at all between treatments; to prolong the colour retention of your tint. Do not pluck or tweeze in-between appointments; particularly in areas where your therapist has advised re-growth. Please inform us immediately if you experience any problems after your treatment; including prolonged swelling, an itchy rash, bruising, or any kind of skin grazing, cuts or tearing so that we can advise the correct treatment. In the unlikely event that your skin does not return to normal within 24 hours of your treatment, seek advice from your GP in case you have had an allergic reaction to the wax – or in case an infection is developing.

Do HD Brows include lamination?
HD Brows vs Brow Lamination Brow lamination is a brand new brow treatment that in the last 6 months, has taken the industry by storm! Originating in Russia, it is the process in which the bond of your brow hair is broken, enabling the hair to be completely fluid.
- Traditional lamination is a trend in which brows are brushed completely upwards, and the brow hair looks much fluffier and fuller.
- We undertook lamination training with HD Brows, who have created their own spin on traditional brow lamination, and named the treatment “Brow Sculpt”.
- The idea behind Brow Sculpt is that you’re also getting a full HD Brow treatment alongside your brow lamination.
A traditional HD Brow consists of a tinting, measuring your brows, waxing, threading and finishing off the brow with makeup. With Brow Sculpt, you get all of this, plus the lamination part. In comparison to a traditional lamination treatment, the idea behind Brow Sculpt is that you don’t have to go for the traditional “brushed up” lamination look.
After treatment, your brow hair is completely fluid meaning they can be manipulated into a better overall shape. If you have a gappy brow, or perhaps a brow that is lacking slightly on the arch, brow sculpt is an ideal treatment to get a better shape using entirely your natural hair. We love the new Brow Sculpt treatment, but don’t worry! We will never stop doing your traditional,
It is the perfect treatment for creating a brow that suits your face entirely, and encouraging your hair to grow in, in the right places. It is the ultimate treatment for the best brow, using your own hair only. Brow Sculpt 💓 LEFT PICTURE:This is a perfect example of the client needing her brow rebalancing to create a better shape. With HD brows we will have had to taken her brow a lot thinner, however with brow sculpt, we were able to create a balanced brow, whilst still keeping it full.
HD Brows 💓 Above, show a traditional HD Brow. This treatment is ideal for those who don’t like the brushed up look, and want an ultra defined brow that is tailored to your face. We often use makeup techniques to fill in the brow whilst your brow grows in, in the necessary places. : HD Brows vs Brow Lamination
